What did you have to forget in order to become who you were supposed to be?

JHMP explores mythology, archetype, shadow, cultural memory, and the stories through which we learn who we are allowed to become.

The Work

Remembering what consciousness left out.

We are shaped not only by what we remember, but by what we have forgotten, rejected, buried, inherited, and learned not to know. JHMP uses myth as a way of listening for what has been pushed outside the story.
MythThe stories that organize human experience.
PsycheThe images, projections, patterns, and shadows beneath conscious identity.
BodyThe intelligence that often knows before the mind can explain.
StoryThe narratives we inherit, inhabit, resist, and rewrite.

Shadow Work for Light Beings

You learned how to seek the light.
Now learn how to see in the dark.

Shadow work is not an invitation to glorify darkness. It is an archaeology of the forgotten self: a practice of recovering information, recognizing projection, meeting rejected parts of identity, and returning with greater discernment.

Founding Cohort

A six-week live descent.

We move through Shadow, Persona, Projection, Descent, Reclamation, and Integration using Jungian depth psychology, mythology, feminist myth criticism, embodied inquiry, and story.

About Jessica

Myth is not dead history. It is a living technology of memory.

Jessica Heilig Montanez Prince is a mythologist, writer, performer, educator, and PhD candidate in Mythological Studies whose work explores archetype, the Divine Feminine, the Crone, shadow, cultural memory, and embodied ways of knowing.

Her teaching brings mythology into conversation with depth psychology, performance, feminist inquiry, and lived experience. The aim is not to hand you another identity. It is to help you hear what your existing identity may have required you to forget.

“Maybe remembering begins with realizing that something has been forgotten.”
